Chili Crab
Ingredients:

  • 2 fresh flower crabs ( 1 got 2 giant crabs)
  • Cooking oil
  • Shallot + garlic (finely chopped)
Blended ingredients
  • 1cm ginger
  • 1cm galangal
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 red chilies
  • 4 bird chilies
  • 1 stalk lemon grass
  • 1 inch shrimp paste

Method:

  1. Clean the crab and fry until the shell just turns red. Put aside
  2. Add the remaining oil to the wok and fry the shallot & garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add blended ingredients, salt & sugar to taste and cook over medium heat and stirring regularly until almost dry.
  4. Return the crab to the wok and simmer, turning carefully in the sauce for few minutes
  5. Add some basil for aromatic flavour and serve!

Fu Chook Chili Padi

Ingredients:
  • Dried Fu Chook (soaked until soft)
  • Spring onion
  • Bird chilies (finely sliced)
  • 1 slice of ginger (finely sliced)
  • Shallot + garlic (finely sliced)
  • Oyster sauce
  • Dark sweet soy sauce
  • Light soy sauce
  • cornstarch
  • Salt + sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
Method:
  1. Fry the shallot + garlic + ginger + bird chilies until fragrant
  2. Add oyster sauce + dark sweet soy sauce + light soy sauce + water
  3. Add salt + sugar to taste and simmer for 2 minutes
  4. Add fu chook and cover the lid for 5minutes
  5. Add spring onion and cook for 1 minutes
  6. Finally, thickened the gravy by adding cornstarch mixture
  7. Done. marvellous!!!
Urmmmm...pretty easy huh?!

Cerita hujung minggu? urmmmm...
nothing much happened...48hrs berkurung kat rumah. Kind of homey person la katakan :-)

Garden breaksfast -oh! home sweet home :-)

Friday, lepas keja headed to 1U. Iftar kat Teppanyaki...sampai jer..abang tu dah senyum2, siap tolong orderkan sukiyaki lagi sebelum sempat mulut ini membuka bicara. Mungkin abang tu rendu kot sebab dah lama tak lepak teppanyaki..huhuu

Lama tak lepak teppanyaki artinya dah lama tak tengok movie :-P
Adalah dkt 5mths dah kot...akhirnya, chek penuhi undangan to watch movie. Alar.. lagipun kan friday :-P the show started at 8.30pm. Angel & Demon.

Vastardd asta lavistard betoi! bayaq tiket mahai 12henget tapi tak dak subtitle!!! hanjengcipanrusalabilabisemutkerengger tau! tahu jerlah citer tu kan complicated. Nak kena paham sejarah. Ada maksud tersirat dan banyak palsampah! Bukan lar nak announce kat sini kata chek ni tak paham omputih..tapi, kalo dah namanya movie omputih showing @ cinema (GSC), letak lar subtitle beb! chinese subtitle ada la plok. Awat dia ingat dia tayang kat hong kong kar? ini malaysia lah!!!
kalo pemalas skali pun! letak jer la english subtitle kat situ..apa salahnya???!

dan dirasakan adalah lebih baik jika movie itu in Italian. Sebab bila characters speak Italian, ada english subtitle...at least paham lar kan what's going on....$#&88@!
Amoi kat sbelah chek bukan main dia ketawa kekekkk2..sebab dia paham jelas, terang dan nyata..ada chinese subtitle..huh!

So, secara kasarnya, chek paham lar citer tu, cuma ralat certain parts & scenes tu coudn't be understood in DETAILS..huuhuuuu..chek slow ker atau Tom Hanks tu cakap laju sangat? urmmm..entah..tapi GSC memang penipu. BIG lier!!! (nasib baik ari ni tak posa)

Remember that day I did tell here that I'm going to recover my work out on saturday & sunday?
Yup! I did :-)
My RPM class started at 11.30am. Sampai gym pukul 11.15am...@33$$2##!
Class was FULL! full! except a bike next to instructor on the central stage :-P

Giler? I'm not going to cycle that bike. Nanti orang tak tengok instructor, dok asik tengok chek yang 'gorgeous' nih :-O hahahahaha!

Kelu barang 15minutes. Thinking of what to do next. Should I continue with other cardio or weight training work out...or have a steam/sauna then choww? Tapi my entire body macam tak bermaya...sebab havn't take breakfast. Rushed out from home like mad...

End up, grabbed coffee @ starbuck and my fav egg rolls @ Bee's and headed home :-)
Aiyohhhh!! tu lar, lain kali jangan bangun lambhat :-O!

OTW home, singgah kedai jap. beli barang2 nak masak bihun sup...lar, bukan nak mengurang berat. menambah berat adanya. kalo dah namanya bihun sup, toksah cakap lar, bukan sepinggan malah berpinggan2...iskkkk..iskk...(sedapppp)

Sunday adalah aktiviti gardening. kluar rumah jar, terpaku biji mata ini melihat akan pokok bunga rumah jiran yang sedang mekar berkembang! PETUNIA! macam yang dah berpasu2 chek beli gantung kat my garden. Dia punya sangatlah bushy dan cantik ya rabbi! so english! ada 3 pasu! Jeles yang teramat! Ooooooo..ni nak challenge nih....gerammm..memang aku geramm..geram - geramm :-)

Lovely petunia. kalo u all pemerhati dan pecinta alam yang baik, belambak BDKL gantung this flower for thier landscape sepanjang jalan around KL. Sumer cantik2 & bushy -jeles!

Actually dolu, garden rumah neighbour chek ni taklah roper garden walaupun ada maid. Ada ka tanam pokok rambutan & mangga kat depan rumah yang garden nyer cuma sekangkang kucing itu? Tak logik lar pada pandangan chek...kalo kat blakang rumah masih boleh diterima. Nasib baik bukan pokok betik or pokok pisang. Kat bumbung tu pun bulih tumbuh pokok yang dah 2-3tahun saiznya. pastu few pots with roses yang idup segan tapi mati tak mo :-P (mulot ko ni jahat tau)

Chupp! nak campuk skit...kadang2 tu, rumah bukan main lagi renovate bagai nak rak, landscape bagai rimba...tapi sidai kain penuh keliling pagar rumah..isshhhh! aper kes tu cik jah ooii!? tak campuq sidai karpet, kain tola, kasut skolah anak & etc kat pagar depan lagi :-P
kadang2 benda cinonet tu pun sidai kat keliling pagaq! loqlaq tau!!!

Gumbira hati bagai bila melihat bunga-bungaan hasil tanaman sendiri mekar di taman...chewahhh..sukerrr
Alkisah bermula after chek completed my garden works sehingga cantik yang amat, tonggek2 tanam rumput carpet 60keping, my adorable gorgeous frangipani tree and puluhan species pokok yang lain (kaya tokey cina sg buloh) dia pun started buat garden dia. Ini adalah citer benar dan diakui oleh my neighbour's maid sendiri (yg molutnya potpet2) -dia cakap "bos saya pun dah tanam pokok bunga sebab tengok kakak punya garden" fuyyo! kembang tatkala itu :-P

Frangipani tree. Alkisah berjalan keliling kampung cari pokok benih free. Kalo kat nursery at this size cost about RM300-400 woooo...

Dia pun tanam rumput carpet juga! pastu ada central piece macam chek juga...hurmmmm...dan hari ini dia gantung pokok bunga petunia macam chek gantung kat rumah chek jugak!

Tapi chek ni seorang jiran yang baik..chek jeles+geram dengan niat bersaing sihat. chek cool... chek bagi semangat kesukanan kat dia, sama2 mengindahkan alam :-)

Takpa, nanti chek pi sg. buloh beli petunia pot hat lagi besaq..urmmm puas hati aku..muaahhahaa!

One of my petunia in a pot in memory... dah k-out pun. Petunia is a season flower type. Paling lama can survive around 3-5months unless tanam kat tempat sejuk like CH or GH. Susah nak jaga, cuma orang yang berhati waja dan sanggup kluar $ saja sanggup memilikinya. Tapi cantik bagai :-) a good english story book & a cup of coffee - ohhh ghoshhh :-) lovely.

Shaun the sheep - soooooooo damn cute!

Ya ampppuunnn!

tengah bz tahap gaban nih! sampai nak terkluaq-kluaq! arrrghhhhh! bayangkan atas tray dah punuh, melimpah ke atas meja, terus jatuh bertabur2 kat lantai office ni ha! iskkk...iskkkk

penat dah aihhhh..dok mengadap nombot jar...pusing..kapla pusing @3345@@!!7@@!!
ada report nak buat, payroll approaching, technical matters need to update, e-mails melambak-lambak! mr Bos keep calling here and there and ada a/c nak kena audit wehhhhhh! aiyohhhh!

tapi so sweet sebab still can jot something here huh?! yer la tu...break kejap lah...amik angin! walaupun motif nyer sama jugak - menatap screen pc nih tapi environment nyer berbeda :-) heheee...sambil2 layan lagu coldplay-viva la vida...wahhh!!! buat menghibur hati yang penat tunggang terbalik ni...at least rasa cool skeet..rasa macam kat class RPM. Yeah! (addicted lar ko ni)

pejam celik-pejam celik dah nak masuk bulan June...whoaaa...cepat betoi masa berlalu. Masuk ari ni dah 2days chek posa..alhamdulillah.(eleh...baru 2 hari) still many days to go. Posa ganti for myself + my beloved late dad...insyaallah.

Tapi paham2 jer lar..bila dah posa ni, teringin macam2! semalam iftar kat Mum's Place. Favourite!!!petola beancurd + foo chook chili padi..yumm..yummm.. Last week chek ajak k.tah rush pi lunch @ Mum's Place...sebab dah tahap maksima nak makan petola beancurd. Terus chek called reserve table & order skali..it was pretty good actually coz we settled down our lunch within 1hr...dasat. (ye lar, kalo makan kat Mum's mana boleh <1hr>) Tapi paling dasat we all dapat free lunch! :-) heheee Chris, the restaurant owner blanjer. Alhamdullilah..rejeki orang teringin :-P

Hari ni teringin nak makan fried tanghoon @ uptown, nak makan sotong kangkung, tauhu bakar bla..blaaa...insyaallah. Ini mesti kes lapar nih, citer pasai makan jer...(tak baik tau!) worrait stop talking about food!

Back to my RPM class. This week cuma sempat join 1 class jer on Monday (sebab fasting kan) it's just not appropriate to work out after breakfast. So, badan ni rasa semacam jer ;-P. Tak fresh and soooooooo lame......takpa, nanti saturday chek cover balik class RPM and pastu run for few miles on Sunday (cheeewahhh...konon! kalo bangun awai erkkk)
As i told u before, once u joint RPM, i bet sure addicted punyer. But so far, I've never joint any of challenge class lagi...kalo challenge class ada 9songs track (usual is 7). Lagi extreme tak hingat dunhia. Tapi kalo first timer jangan plak gatai2 nak pi masuk challenge class - alamatnyer sure insaf takmo masuk RPM lagi...hahahahaha

Last few weeks, Bob AF & friends tu ada joint skali. Pastu dah tak nampak batang idung dah :-P sekarang dia buat cardio jer...umie aida dah lama tak datang, ada shooting agaknya. Ha! tu sorang lagi...kalo masuk class RPM, bau perfume dia jer...hamboi..nak work out pun wangi bagai! skali ari tu k.tah gatai mulut p cakap dgn dia pasai perfume dia, la ni dah tak bau langsung...hiiihii.

Tapi bukan nak kata lar, RPM is ultimate calory burning class. Ada satu pakwe ni (we all panggil dia Aizat - sbb big size & look like aizat AF) but now? gheeezeeee...macam arnold 'susahnakeja'. Dasat! perubahan depan mata beb! berketoi2..ala2 six pack body...(hehee..shibookk jer tengok orang)

Ada satu chinese auntie ni pun dasat jugak..tapi dia tak joint class chek..dia slalu masuk group exercise. Kita orang panggil dia Maklang...hari2 ada kat gym...sumer class dia joint! rasa2nyer umur dia dah early 50s macam tu...hebat. Dressing, cakap sumer macam youngster.

Syok juga pi gym ni, ada orang yang macam2. Tapi paling best kalo lepak tengok group exercise buat body attack kar, body step kar or etc...klakar...ketawa terbahak1000x tengok depa hat yang tak reti nak follow step instructor. cikgu pusing kanan, dia pusing kiri, cikgu lompat depan, dia lompat blakang...yang keras macam tiang pun ada ;-D
tapi tabik kat depa sebab ada juga inisiatif nak menyihatkan badan. Peace!

Wokey! that's it...release skit dok citer ntah hapa2 nih..need to get back to my adorable work station :-P

Ingredients:
  • 2cups wheat flour
  • 2tsp custard flour
  • 3tsp evaporated milk
  • dash of salt
  • 2.5cups water
Method:

Mix well all the above ingredients with blender.

note: please make sure that the batter is not to thick or too thin!

and of course roti jala goes well with chicken curry!urrmmm..nyumm.nyummmm...

Ingredients:
  • 2 chicken breasts - cut into small pieces
  • 1cup coconut milk
  • Curry leaves
  • 1cm ginger + 1cm galangal + 2shallots + 2cloves garlic - blended and mix with curry powder
  • 2 potatoes - cut into small cubes
  • 1 tomato - cut into small cubes

Method:

  1. Fry shallot + garlic + curry leaves until fragrant
  2. Add mixture of curry powder. Cook for 5minutes
  3. Add pieces of chicken, tomatoes and potatoes and cook for another 3 minutes
  4. Add coconut milk, salt & sugar to taste and simmer above slow heat for 15minutes. Add water if necessary.
  5. Finally, add basil leaves & bird chilies for more flavour.

note: Cook until tomatoes become very soft so that you will get a flavourful & thick superb chicken curry.

Actually, this is my first time cooking curry mee :-)
i don't really like it actually hihiii... It kinds of (too) heavy meal for me.
Mee + coconut milk! for dinner? after 8pm? OMG! ;-P

Try to avoid carbs if possible :-P (but, certainly can't resist! purut malay lar katakan) ohhh yay..yaaa. Not only carbs...it's a package! with fAt toooooo :-)

But, it left me with no choice! rasa nak makan curry mee dah kat tekak sesangat dah! takmo restoren punyer...self cook...urrrmmm nak kena masak jugak...eventhough i just got home from work. Semangat mee curry cik jah oiii!


Ingredients:

  • Garlic + shallot -sliced
  • Lemon grass -bashed
  • Garlic + shallot + ginger + galangal + turmeric + lemon grass -blended
  • Curry Powder
  • Curry leaves
  • Chili paste
  • Coconut milk
  • Tofu puffs
  • Fish cake
  • Prawn
  • Chicken
  • Cockle (boiled & shelled)

Method:

  1. Stir fry sliced shallot, garlic, curry leaves & bashed lemongrass till fragrant
  2. Add blended ingredients, curry powder & chili paste. Cook for few minutes
  3. Add in chicken pieces and mixed well for 1-2 minutes
  4. Add coconut milk and salt & sugar to taste
  5. Finally, add prawn, cockle, fish cake & tofu puffs
  6. Simmer over low heat

yang keberapa ekkkk? ^-^*
huh! it does not matter...it just a number anyway. Don't bother unless you are cheese :-P
It was an awesome celebration and great chance to un-wind myself.

I do thought and told my buddies please don't bother to celebrate my birthday this year as I feel not to :-(

But it seems that they are so naugthy and had thrown me a surprise birthday treat...huh! OMG!
They even planned it since last year! ohhhhh...love you guys!!! hugh and kissess from me to all of you...uuuummmmmh!

...and let the journey begin....

Early morning I received a card packed with 1.5days itineraries. They have planned everythings for me! and it's start now!

Treat no. 1: a fabulous 2hrs Balinese aromatherapy body massage at Villamay Spa @ 11am...Ribut, my therapist was just awesome. The treatment comprises floral foot bath, 10minutes jacuzi, full body massage and ended up with body lotion..ooaahhhh! ^-^*


Treat no. 2: After a quick lunch, I headed to KL to check in to my hotel -Nikko Kuala Lumpur...
Oh yeah! it was getting more interesting and more surprises huh! gheeeezzz :-)
and it was an Executive Room ^-^*





Treat no. 3 & 4: After checked-in I just hang out in my room -enjoying every moment I've got. By 6.30pm I was brought to my favourite restaurant -Lemongrass, Shangri-La KL. They were all waiting for me to have a big dinner...oh! and another present for me too (you guys are spoiling me! probably to muchhh) heheheee

Inside the box was a lovely colourful casual long dress...so sweet...
Definitely for a....jeng..jeng..jeng..
We wrapped up the dinner at 9.30pm. Me? back to hotel lah...ZZZZZzzzzzzz :-)

On the next day, after breakfast buffet spread @ Serena Brasserie, while waiting to check out at noon (ohhh... it's going to end soon...)
I chilled out at the pool on the 5th floor... So tropical with beautiful green landscape. I almost forgot that i was on a high rise building.


and...that's all folk :-) ehhh..eh!

Petola
Dried mushroom (soaked)
Young corn
Garlic + shallot + bird chilies
Oyster sauce + soy sauce
Corn flour (mix with water)
Salt & sugar


Method:

  1. Stir fried shallot, garlic & bird chilies till fragrant
  2. Add petola, mushroom & young corn
  3. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, sugar and mix well
  4. Put the lid on and let the veggies cook in steam for 5minutes
  5. Then, thicken the gravy with cornflour mixed with plain water and serve immediately
  6. Garnish as you like :-)
